1. What do you like the most about working for Grace Personnel?

I love who I work with, it makes coming to work a whole lot easier! Also, the feeling of finding a candidate a job and knowing I have made a small difference to their life is great.

2. Are you superstitious?

Yes! I won’t walk under ladders, cross people on the stairs or walk over 3 drains and always salute magpies.

3. How did you get into recruitment?

After graduating from uni I started as a temp where I did a few bookings for Grace including temping here in the office as the Administrator. In January I went travelling and whilst away, Lauren reached out and asked if I would be interested in a permanent role as a Consultant when I got home… 3 days after being home, I came in and had a catch up – now here we are!

4. What is your pet peeve within recruitment?

When you invest so much time trying to help someone and they suddenly go MIA.. when candidates don’t show up to interviews.. when clients take 3 weeks to get back to you… the list goes on!

5. In your opinion what makes a good candidate?

A good communicator, someone who keeps you in the loop of what’s happening with them and can be open and honest.

6. How long have you been with Grace Personnel?

Nearly 6 months already!

7. Where’s your favourite place you’ve visited?

New Zealand without a doubt – Queenstown – beautiful AND great nightlife.

8. What pets did you have growing up?

2 cats called Specs and Dibbs, a dog called Keo (named after a Cypriot beer) and a fish called Hercules.

9. What is the one item you can’t leave home without?

As sad as this sounds – it would have to be my phone!

10. What is your favourite genre of music?

It really depends on the mood I’m in – love a bit of old school disco though!

11. If you could have lunch with one famous person who would it be?

Lily Allen – always has been my favourite famous person

12. Where would you most like to go in the world?

Hawaii – definitely on the bucket list. Would happily go back to New Zealand also – my favourite place I’ve been so far.

13. What did you want to be when you grew up?

Something within the criminal justice system, a Counsellor for offenders, I’ve always wanted to help people!

"We have used Grace Personnel for over 10 years. They know and understand our business and requirements. I will always put a vacancy with them first before sending it out to other agencies, as I know that they can deliver. An area of Grace that I value is the continuity of staff, unlike other agencies you have the same contact year after year which helps build a relationship and for them to understand us. Without hesitation, I recommend Grace to any employer looking to recruit or for anyone who is looking for a job as you'll always get an excellent service."
