CONSUMER INSIGHTS MANAGER 7M FTC 

We are recruiting on behalf of a global wellness organisation. As the International Consumer Insights Manager, you will partner with multiple business teams to provide and conduct research amongst international company members and prospective members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct and manage both qualitative and quantitative research projects with support and guidance from manager and in collaboration with international and global teams
  • Deeply understand business issues and specific questions to address them. Support manager in developing comprehensive research briefs, that include detailed learning areas and action standards, with stakeholder buy-in
  • Co-ordinate research projects across international country teams, including
  • Qualitative: focus groups, in-home ethnographies, 1-1 interviews, etc. Stimulus gathering, screener approval, translation process, vendor DPA agreements, internal data and sample requests
  • Quantitative: concept tests, usage and attitude studies, post attendance, product tests, satisfaction studies etc
  • Manage research vendor from research design (including sample, questionnaire, discussion guide), field work, analysis, reporting and presentation delivery; ensuring data accuracy throughout study
  • Analyse and interpret data in Excel and create crisp, insightful PowerPoint charts
  • Deliver strong learning, in story-like presentation format that addresses all research objectives and includes actionable recommendations within needed timelines
  • Manage internal business partner from understanding business issues, to recommending research approaches and sharing findings across multiple in country teams
  • Support manager in partnering with key business stakeholders to assess business needs and learning priorities, communicate effectively with business partners throughout the research phase and share-back recommendations and findings with teams

KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong passion for consumer understanding
  • Strong communications skills, social competence, ability to work in teams, inter-cultural skills. Leading and steering external teams e.g. agencies, cooperation and research partners
  • Ability to listen, being open-minded and curious, with a good sense and feeling for semantics and language. Fluent in English language. Additional languages desired: German, French
  • Ability to analyse, interpret data for insight reports
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Be self-motivated and driven individual
  • Min of 3 years’ experience in Market Research Function, ideally with European responsibilities
  • Qualtrics experience desired
  • Quantitative questionnaire design and programming essential
