We are recruiting for a Credit Risk Administrator on behalf of an award-winning, global financial services company in Slough. You will provide the highest level of Customer Service to our franchisees; and process credit applications and associated documents in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with agreed service level agreements.


  • Support the Credit Underwriters by undertaking appropriate credit searches for applications received
  • Carry out fraud investigations with the assistance of the credit underwriters
  • Responding to queries from intermediaries regarding vehicle applications
  • Undertake proof of identity and validation checks for both new and existing customers
  • Meet all agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide support to Credit Underwriters and manager on day-to-day basis and to be involved with projects
  • Involvement with internal audit processes
  • Ensure credit risk is compliant with the company’s CRM and policies
  • Ensure credit risk is compliant with all relevant local legislation and regulations e.g. data protection, consumer credit act, money laundering
  • Other general administration tasks as directed


  • Accurately progress credit applications through Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and deal correctly with any alerts
  • Create and maintain accurate records in GCRMS, NOLS, customer files and the credit risk logbook
  • Liaise with Commercial Sales, Customer Service teams and other company countries and deal with their questions and queries accurately and in a timely manner


  • A minimum of a year’s experience in an administrative role (previous experience in a risk management role an advantage)
  • Experience in using anti-fraud applications (CIFAS and Hunter) is an advantage
  • Experience of Microsoft Office applications (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • An inquisitive mind set and strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in business English language – written and verbal
  • Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
  • Knowledge of consumer credit act, GDPR, and money laundering regulations an advantage


  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, typically grade C or above, must have at least grade C in English and Maths
