DIGITAL LEARNING MANAGER

We are looking for an exceptional Digital Learning Manager to join an expanding digital team. Reporting to the Head of Product Operations, you will lead the company’s digital learning team to provide internal and external customers with seamless delivery of the digital Performance Learning Journey, through systems and product offerings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate scoping sessions with clients: taking digital learning briefs from project stakeholders and finding suitable solutions
  • Supervise digital learning briefs to ensure they are completed as specified
  • Collaborate with eLearning Developers to create engaging eLearning content
  • Oversee digital systems and our learning management system
  • Understand and administer our digital learning products with a deep knowledge of their technical components
  • Be a super user for the company’s LMS and other digital offers and products
  • Provide pricing estimates and delivery timelines for digital learning solutions
  • Project manage digital learning projects to budget including pre-testing, UAT and quality assurance
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies for all deliverables
  • Be responsible for the overall quality of the digital learning team’s output
  • Consultant with clients regarding their existing IT infrastructure

KEY SKILLS:

  • Genuine passion for creative and engaging learning
  • Strong digital learning project management experience
  • Programme leadership – experience of leading complex projects and programmes within deadline and budget constraints
  • Experience of building and managing highly effective teams
  • Experience across LMS, digital and eLearning production
  • Experience of designing a broad range of learning interventions
  • The ability to prioritise effectively, meet tight deadlines and maintain quality
  • Experience and understanding of UX and UI principles and how they should be applied to digital learning
  • An understanding of instructional design whereby we create impactful learning journeys with whatever resources available
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills particularly with third party suppliers
  • Commercial awareness gained from experience in the company product range and be pro-activeness in looking to expand these with new innovations and/or products
  • Excellent communication skills, to include first class writing ability
  • Experience in participation/lead on pitches for new work and explanation of digital offer/product
  • The ability to translate technical requirements from a client into the company’s delivery solution
  • A high degree of curiosity about how technology can be applied to what the company does
  • The ability to communicate the needs of the client and focus efforts to meet these
  • The ability to build relationships at all levels both internally and externally with partners, especially at the most senior level
