INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & PR ASSISTANT 

We are recruiting on behalf of a global wellness technology company who inspire millions of people to adopt healthy habits for real life to support the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT:

  • Support the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to ensure that brand messages land consistently and clearly both internally and externally
  • Support in continually improving, delivering and assessing the effectiveness of the communications strategy and employee engagement initiatives across the whole business
  • Champion the strategy to ensure UK employees continually engage with and use internal global communication platforms to ensure the brand vision is understood across all areas of the business
  • Support with the annual employee engagement survey set up and results communications
  • Support the good social impact campaign activities through coordination of events and initiatives

PR:

  • Champion member success stories and secure coverage across newspapers and magazines
  • Work with internal content team and our publisher to utilise success stories and features
  • Develop and maintain on-going media relations to foster strong relationships and ‘best in class’ coverage across all media
  • Day to day press office ensure management of media queries
  • Support the PR Manager to create and develop content for campaign materials across PR
  • Work closely with PR Manager and provide guidance to Operations team and Wellness Coaches to support local PR activity including managing a team of PR Champions providing them with content and monthly briefs
  • Support budget management across Internal Communications and PR, including Purchase Orders creation and invoicing management

KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • 1+ years PR and Internal Communications experience gained from a similar role
  • Previous experience within health and wellbeing or have an active interest
  • Communications/PR/Marketing degree preferred
  • An understanding and passion for PR and Internal Communications with a thirst to develop new skills and knowledge
  • Ability to build strong relationships across media channels including consumer lifestyle, health and news
  • Experience of generating positive media coverage
  • Ability to manage and own multiple projects
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
  • Strong personal integrity and accountability
  • Customer focused and commercially agile, with ability to think and act quickly in response to changing conditions
  • Excellent relationship management skills, including the ability to deal professionally with people operating at all levels
  • Ability to extract and assess information from a variety of sources and present this information in an easy to understand manner, using a variety of communication channels
  • Computer literate, ideally in G Suite applications (e.g. Gmail, Google Drives/Docs/slides/Sheets)
