PA to Executive Head Teacher

To provide a full, efficient and highly confidential secretarial service to the Executive Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team so that they are supported in all aspects of their work

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Executive Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
  • Managing the Executive Headteacher’s diary and organising her paperwork
  • Receiving and responding to correspondence on behalf of the Executive Headteacher
  • To be responsible for the minuting, transcription and circulation of documents for both internal and external meetings as necessary
  • To produce correspondence for the Senior Leadership Team collating information, producing reports and documents as required
  • Preparing resources and facilities for use by the Executive Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Facilitating visitors/guests of the Executive Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team to include hospitality
  • Dealing with queries on the telephone and in person for staff, parents, governors, visitors and external stakeholders
  • To assist in the co-ordination of school events including Open Evenings, Award Ceremonies, end of term functions and social events through the provision of materials, the ordering of catering and facilities, booking of IT and equipment, invitations and publicity as required
  • Reception duties as and when necessary – e.g. answering the telephone switchboard, dealing with students, parents/carers and visitors to school, offering hospitality as required
  • Undertaking project work for the school as required
