PA to Managing Director

Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  / 8.30 am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch, flexibility is required for the occasional early meeting (approximately 1 per month).

Providing support to the Managing Director, this position requires someone who is self motivated, computer literate, keen to learn, proactive, innovative with an eye for detail and someone who thrives under pressure.


  • Production of documents – emails, memos, reports, minutes and presentations including audio-typing
  • Responding to correspondence, including customer complaints, on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Maintaining a ‘day-book’ file for the Managing Director ensuring the latest most up-to-date documents are present
  • Screening telephone calls and handling enquiries
  • Collating, copying and binding of meeting packs
  • Extensive diary management
  • Coordinating meeting schedules for the Operation Board as well as the Executive Board
  • Completion of expenses
  • Assistance with reception cover and answering overflow calls from reception
  • Organising our annual events such as Christmas party
  • Organising networking events including collating guest lists and sending invites
  • Coordinate the annual employee survey
  • Responding to general correspondence
  • Assistance with logistics for events/exhibitions


  • Minimum of 2 years’ PA experience / 5 years’ secretarial/administrative experience
  • Essential: Knowledge of Microsoft Applications – MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook (essential)
  • Previous experience in the construction/property industry (preferred)
