PART-TIME AFTERNOON RECEPTIONIST 6M FTC

HOURS OF WORK:

You will be required to work 22.5 hours a week between 1.00pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

PURPOSE:

To provide an efficient, professional service in respect of switchboard and reception duties. As the first point of call for visitors to the company, you must have strong communication and organisational skills and enjoy greeting visitors.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Efficient operation of the switchboard
  • Greeting visitors in a polite and professional manner
  • Organising passes for all visitors to the company
  • Ordering lunches for meetings
  • Announcing guests and visitors to the staff
  • Ordering lunches for meetings
  • Booking taxis
  • Ordering of stationery and office/ kitchen supplies
  • Taking messages and delivering in a timely manner
  • Act as focal point for deliveries / informing staff of delivered items
  • Provide administrative support to the company as and when required

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Enthusiastic and self motivated
  • Well organised with attention to detail

EXPERIENCE:

  • Computer literate
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding of switchboards
