Sales and Operational Support Executive

To support the Manager with the operational delivery of the company’s flexible proposition and specific development of sales growth and service delivery.

Responsible for day to day management of fleet administration and reporting along with supplier interaction for company bookings and logistical fulfilment.


  • Assign an appropriate vehicle to reservation within 60 minutes throughout the working day
  • Arrange collection of vehicle upon receiving off hire request within agreed timeframes
  • Manage the company’s fleet including de-fleets and vehicles that are in for repair
  • Process novation’s and schedule updates  timely and accurately at all times
  • Act as the company’s operational point of contact for sales, customer service teams and suppliers
  • Accurate administration and recharging of vehicle damage charges and queries
  • Develop relationship across corporate Sales teams to ensure excellent customer service
  • Act as operational point of contact for suppliers for resolution of day to day queries and decisions
  • Accurate administration and recharging of vehicle damage charges and queries
  • Provide quotes and stock availability to customers and internal teams as and when requested
  • Manage customers through the order to delivery process as required
  • Take ownership of allocated tasks ensuring that all enquiries are resolved promptly and efficiently in the right way for both the company and the customer wherever possible
  • Ensure all work is completed to the 100% accuracy at all times
  • Recognise and accelerate day-to-day planned activities to allow unforeseen urgent work to be completed
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders and all other appropriate internal departments to deliver the goal of growing the company’s fleet and provide customer satisfaction at all times
  • Support the account managers to achieve their key metrics i.e. targets, increasing the number of rental days and customer awareness of both rental propositions
  • Provide the sales person with the ‘total package’ required to complete a sale
  • Develop strong external relationships with suppliers (where services are used for product delivery)
  • Meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)


  • Demonstrates a proven track record of administration and customer service
  • Good understanding of systems and processes
  • Fluent in business English language – written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
