TEMPORARY COMMERCIAL ANALYST

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Commercial Analyst to join a fantastic company based in High Wycombe. The chosen candidate will provide analytical support and insight to the commercial team whilst developing how business data is captured, validated and presented.

Principal responsibilities:

  • To deliver a range of analytical and reporting support to the whole of the commercial team
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across multiple European locations
  • Audit and understand commercial analysis requirements by department
  • Data capture from a variety of internal and external data sources
  • Data cleanse and validation processes
  • Producing detailed spend and market analysis and insights to support the strategic decisions that will help to shape the direction and performance of each category area within the commercial team
  • Routine reporting suite and ad-hoc deep dive data interrogation
  • Proactive development of new reports and insights
  • Create data visualisations and dashboards using PowerBI and other tools
  • Present findings and insights to commercial teams via appropriate communications channels
  • Support the Finance team in the monthly Franchisee Benefit Tracker process
  • Involvement in planned Franchisee database development project
  • Other projects and activities as identified by the Business Analytics Manager

Specifics and Challenges

Gathering, capturing, logging, analysing and reporting on data from the franchisee service providers to support the Commercial Team.

Services to include:

  • Insurance, Payment Services and Utilities (Energy)
  • Equipment Suppliers, Services, Repairs, Engineers
  • Technical Solutions – Digital Menu Boards, Subventory
  • Stakeholders will be all of these service providers, Cross Functional teams, Franchisees, and Peers – EU Wide
  • Must have the energy and the creativity to find solutions to improve the visualisation of data
  • Previous similar experience essential – preferably from commercial or retail sectors

Essential

  • Data Analysis Experience, 2 Years +
  • Strong SH Management
  • Competency using Microsoft intelligence data tool or equivalent (Business Intelligence tools)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills

Preferable

  • Previous use of POS Data
