Temporary Digital Assistant for 6 months

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Digital Assistant to join a fantastic company based in Maidenhead. The chosen candidate will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and support the Assistant Digital Manager with the optimisation of the digital customer journey for the company, implementing website updates, content audits, SEO management and analytics reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide web analytics and insights reports on a weekly and monthly basis and make recommendations as to required changes in order to optimise site and improve customer journey
  • Manage the A/B testing calendar, with global and international teams.  Localise content and work with offshore teams to deliver site content and pricing changes for specific AB test requirements
  • Report back test results internally, with next steps and learnings
  • Manage on-site / App content changes through appropriate channels
  • Consideration on SEO impact of changes to content, consulting within SEO Manager / Agency on changes
  • Measure and report performance of all on-site campaigns / promotions, using Google Analytics and assess against goals and KPIs for the site and make recommendations for future planning and development
  • Manage performance of checkout setup through Google Analytics and Digital Dashboard and ensure continue rates are strong against long term benchmarks
  • Manage CSP (Promotion Setup) process, with Finance, and Global CSP Team.  Manage end to end through to JIRA ticketing system with the Offshore team.  Ensure timely updates to pricing and promotions through website and App through the current promotional calendar
  • Setting up promotions through third parties, managing an active calendar of promotions with partners
  • Manage and maintain terms and conditions for pricing and promotions, on a weekly basis.  Ensure legal compliance through relevant internal teams
  • Ensure that tracking and tagging (Pixels / Tag Manager) for the site are set up and optimised in the correct manner. Responsible for change-management correctly through JIRA tickets / global teams with regards to changes to website
  • Ensure that the end to end customer experience across all sites, ensure that the site / App is optimised across all devices
  • Ensure that the site is optimised for the best customer journey, where possible take learnings and feedback from customers to look at how the site can be further optimised
  • Implement and employ a system for regular content audits across all areas of the website to ensure old, irrelevant or contradictory content is removed and refreshed
  • Work with Global team to upload agreed assets and manage uploads/upgrades and deliver digital content to the site
  • Manage the approval and sign off process for content, creative and campaigns through relevant channels before going live
  • Work with the brand and content teams to ensure that content for site is aligned with all campaign materials and updated within relevant timeframe
  • Drive acquisition and brand consideration/awareness via site and app
  • Ability to understand and read changes in market dynamics and make recommendations as to what steps should be taken to right the changes
  • Support in the delivery of digital strategy and the launch of new products and tools
  • Input content onto the site via offshore team to ensure it is continually refreshed and in line with the programme, relevant content themes, and business requirements

Key Skills/Competencies:

  • Demonstrable experience of CMS management (Drupal or other Open / PHP based), including building of web pages, content management, good knowledge of Photoshop and image re-sizing for Digital
  • Customer journey mapping experience
  • Excellent standard of copy writing, for marcomms activity through digital channels
  • Project Management experience with working across a matrix style setup preferable
  • Working knowledge of tag management, pixel implementation and analytics packages and reporting
  • Good working knowledge of SEO. Be able to work with agency and Global team to manage tech audits, optimise all content and work with Global lead to resolve tech issues, and content team to improve our page ranking through strategic content development
  • Active management / usage of a web-based ticket system (JIRA / Trello / ASANA / Google Forms) with offshore and Internal teams
  • Able to multi-task on simultaneous ‘active’ campaigns, coordinating internally to ensure pricing, promotions, legal compliance and brand integrity is flawlessly executed
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and best practice
  • Able to keep up to speed on latest innovations and new technologies within market and manage business and consumer expectations as a result
  • Digital Report writing, and analytical ability with the use of Analytics tools, i.e. Google Analytics / Adobe / ComScore
  • Work towards KPI’s and objectives to deliver effectives results
